The Kudang Upper and Senior Secondary School community is mourning the loss of one of its esteemed teachers, Pa Sulay Barry, who tragically lost his life attempting the dangerous journey to Europe, commonly known as the “Back Way.”
Pa Sulay Barry, an Agricultural Science teacher, was known for his dedication and remarkable achievements in his subject area. A colleague, reflecting on Barry’s contributions, described his work as yielding “incredible results,” highlighting his proactive and respectful attitude.
Ousainou Fofana, a former colleague, remembered Barry as a devout Muslim who often led prayers, emphasizing his commitment to both his faith and his students.
The loss of Pa Sulay Barry is deeply felt by the Kudang Upper and Senior Secondary School community, who are left to grapple with the void left by such a dedicated and impactful educator.
