Community Bantaba on Peace and Security Held in Kerewan

ActionAid International The Gambia, under its Local Rights Programme 9, organized a day-long community Bantaba focused on peace and security in Kerewan, North Bank Region.

The event convened regional security heads, young people, women, Persons With Disabilities, and local authorities, including chiefs. The gathering aimed to address security challenges and explore collaborative efforts among stakeholders to enhance peace and security in the region.

Participants engaged in meaningful discussions, sharing insights and strategies to strengthen community cohesion and safety. The presence of diverse groups highlighted the inclusive approach of the Bantaba in tackling pressing security issues.
