Works Ministry Signs MoU for the Establishment of Gambia Maritime School

The Ministry of Works, Transport and Infrastructure through the Gambia Maritime Administration, on Tuesday 8th July 2024, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SAMET Educational Services for the establishment of a maritime school in The Gambia. The signing ceremony was held at the Works Ministry premises along MDI Road in Kanifing.

The historic signing ceremony was witnessed by the Minister of Works, Transport and Infrastructure Honourable Ebrima Sillah, The Gambia Ambassador to India His Excellency Mustapha Jawara, Captain Vikas of the SAMET Educational Services, representatives of the University of Science and Technology (USET), Ministry of Higher Education Research Science and Technology, senior officials of Gambia Maritime Administration and staff of the Ministry of Works.
