Reinforcing its commitment to grassroot football:BAC sponsors WCR Zonal Football Championship with D500,000 support package

The Brikama Area Council (BAC) has announced a D500,000 sponsorship package for the West Coast Region Zonal Committee 2025 Zonal Football Championship, reinforcing its commitment to grassroots football and youth development across the region.

As part of the support, all 13 participating zones will each receive a set of jerseys, two footballs and a football pump to aid their preparations and participation in the competition.

The initiative highlights BAC’s dedication to promoting sports as a tool for community unity, discipline and empowerment, while providing opportunities for young talents to shine at regional level.

The 2025/26 WCR Zonal Championship will kick off with the Super Cup Final on Sunday, 2nd November 2025 at the Boxba Mini Stadium in Brikama, where Foni and Brufut are set to battle for the first silverware of the season.
