QNET has organised a well-needed Expo to showcase its products and caution Gambians against false information about its business model. The international direct-selling company, which has been operating for 27 years, specialises in developing, promoting, and selling exclusive wellness and lifestyle products. The QNET Expo, which was organised at the Coco Ocean Resort and Spa in Bijilo on 6th December, 2025, helped address some misconceptions in the minds of Gambians.
Beaming with confidence and experience, Bernie Gaksch, Regional Strategy and Marketing Manager for QNET in sub-Saharan Africa, took journalists on a tour of the booths where QNET products were displayed. He explained the features of each product and emphasised their wellness, health or nutritional benefits.
He admitted that: “We are aware that our products are being misused and misrepresented in the Gambia and other places. This is one of the reasons we are organising this Expo. We want the public to see, feel and experience QNET and our range of innovative products. Some people do not know that QNET is in the business of selling quality, certified, world-class products. I am happy that you now know.”
“Gradually, we are combating the misinformation about QNET. We are replicating this Expo in many other parts of West Africa. We want everybody to know the real QNET and to be able to distinguish it from people who deliberately defraud innocent people in the name of QNET. We are also embarking on media and public education campaigns using television, radio, newspapers, social media and billboards across West Africa to provide correct information about QNET,” he revealed.
