GAP refutes coalition agreement story says it hasn’t reach deal with any Party

The Gambia Action Party (GAP) wishes to inform its members, supporters, and the general public that the party has not entered into any agreement, alliance, or coalition with any political party or group.

GAP was invited to a recent engagement, and the Deputy Party Leader was pleased to attend and contribute constructively by sharing ideas with other participants. However, no commitments were made on behalf of the party during or after the engagement.

Following careful consideration and internal consultations with the Party Leader, GAP has resolved to remain independent and committed to its principles and vision for The Gambia.

Furthermore, the party reaffirms that MUSA OUSAINOU YALI BATCHILLY remains the duly selected and legitimate presidential candidate of the Gambia Action Party for the forthcoming elections.

We urge all supporters and the general public to disregard any rumors or misinformation suggesting otherwise and to remain steadfast in their support for the party and its candidate.

GAP remains focused on delivering its agenda for national development, good governance, and the welfare of all Gambians.

Signed:
Gambia Action Party (GAP)
