The President of the Gambia Medical Students’ Association (GaMSA), Ms. Oumie Faal, together with the Director of the Standing Committee on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights including HIV and AIDS (SCORA), had the honor of receiving a generous donation of a carton of sanitary pads from the CEO of AFRICMED International Hospital, Dr. Omar Jagne.
This kind contribution will support GaMSA’s upcoming health outreach in rural Gambia, where the association will be conducting a pad drive alongside a menstrual hygiene awareness and education session for girls and women in the community. The donation will help promote menstrual health, improve access to essential hygiene products, and contribute to breaking the stigma surrounding menstruation.
