The Gambia Police Force on Saturday joined the global law enforcement community in observing the INTERPOL Day of Remembrance for Fallen Police Officers.

Marked annually on March 7, the day honours police officers around the world who lost their lives in the line of duty while protecting their communities and upholding the rule of law.

In a message commemorating the occasion, Seedy Muctarr Touray paid tribute to fallen officers, describing their courage, dedication, and sacrifice as a lasting inspiration to members of the Force.

The Police leadership also extended respect and solidarity to the families of officers who died while serving their country.
