GAF welcomes home Lieutenants Dawda Lowe and Omar K Jarju after Turkey training

 

The Gambia Armed Forces has welcomed home Lieutenant Dawda Lowe and Lieutenant Omar K Jarju following their successful completion of officer training programmes in Turkey.

The two officers returned after undergoing rigorous academic and military training at top Turkish military institutions, where they gained specialised skills to strengthen The Gambia’s defence capacity.

Lieutenant Lowe trained at the Turkish Land Forces Academy, where he earned qualifications in International Relations and Military Science.

Lieutenant Jarju, on the other hand, trained at the Turkish Naval Academy, earning a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
