On the sixth day of his maiden nationwide familiarisation tour, DG Ceesay and his entourage had a meeting with the Governor of West Coast Region and service Chiefs within the region.
Equally DG and his team made spot visit to Mandinaba, Giboro, Darsilameh, Siffoe and Brikama respectively, where he and his team had engagements and meetings with personnel of the Agency and other sister security services posted at those stations.
Thereafter, DG and his entourage had a meeting with the Chiefs, Alkalos, Imams, ward Councilors and Council of elders in those communities and it’s surroundings.
Various speakers commended DG and his entourage for the visit which is timely. They also assured him of their readiness to work with the Agency in abating drugs and related activities.
DG Ceesay in his part thanked them for the tumultuous welcome and wonderful reception, good work that they have been doing as well as their commitment and dedication to the crusade on drug abuse, illicit drug trafficking and related transnational organized crime.
