WFP & NDMA Support Vulnerable KM Families Through Food Assistance Programme

 

The World Food Programme (WFP) in collaboration with the National Disaster Management Agency (NDMA) launched the Lean Season Response Food Assistance Programme at the KMC Grounds.
The initiative aims to support vulnerable households in the municipality affected by floods, windstorms, and food insecurity.
In Kanifing Municipality, 73 households will benefit from this vital support over a three-month cycle (October, November & December).
Each household will receive the following food commodities per month:
72 kg of rice
14.2 kg of beans
1.2 kg of iodized salt
5 liters of fortified oil
This partnership underscores a continued commitment to strengthening community resilience and ensuring food security for families in need.
