Tottenham Hotspur have parted ways with head coach Igor Tudor after 44 days and 7 matches in charge of the North London Club.
Tudor left Spursr in 17th position and one point above the relegation zone. His first game was a heavy 4-1 defeat to rivals Arsenal, followed by another below per performance against Athletico Madrid in the Champions league, 5-2 it was even though they won a return leg 3-2 which was not enough for them to sail through. A deserved 1-1 draw followed against Liverpool but his fate was decided after Tottenham lost 3-0 at home to fellow relegation strugglers Nottingham Forest.
A club official statement thanked Tudor for his efforts and promise to name a replacement within 48 hours. Former Brighton Manager Roberto Del Zerbi is the hot favorite to succeed Tudor at the Tottenham Hotspur hot seat but the Italian wanted to takeover only after when the season ends. Other notable names includes former managers Harry Rednapp, Glenn Huddle and Tim Sherwood, former players Robbie Keane who’s coaching in Hungary and Ryan Mason are tooted. Current half back Ben Davies has offered himself to take charge on the interim.
Tottenham who won the Europa league last season against Manchester United under Ange Postecoglou are now looking for their fourth coach.
