The Network of Human Rights Defenders in The Gambia (NHRDG) is making waves in the country’s fight for social justice and equality. Led by Chairperson Mr. Muhammed Bah, the network has been making significant strides since its inception. In a visit to the Beakanyang office, Mr. Bah briefed the team on the network’s progress and sought their continued support.
The meeting was held to update Beakanyang on the network’s achievements since its formation in late 2024. One of the major milestones is the successful registration of the NHRDG. The NHRDG’s formation was a result of a national training organized by Beakanyang as part of its UNDP supported Post-TRRC project.
