While delivering a lengthy presentation on the general overview of the Gambia Youth Chamber of Commerce, Fatima Muloshi the CEO urges youths involved in Business to properly utilize the internet by posting and advertising their products.
The internet she said is often misused by young people who often post their photos and videos for fun only.
The Youth Chamber of Commerce is the voice of young entrepreneurs and businesses in the Gambia and has tasked itself to empower the youth businesses.
She highlighted her organization’s commitment to the general welfare of the members which includes building capacities, organizing national trade fairs, networking as well as coaching.
She also spoke about standardization of products and packaging adding that her organization has partnered with the Gambia Standard Bureau.
The GYCC she said is well decentralized and engages in activities across the regions through their respective regional structures.
She asserted that over the years, the chamber provided extensive packaging training for several youth businesses
