Promising Harvest in Niamina West District

 

In a positive turn of events for local agriculture, farmers in Niamina West District have begun harvesting their groundnut crops. Alhassa Jallow, a dedicated farmer from Dalaba village, shared his encouraging experience with New Global Media.

“I started harvesting my three hectares of groundnut farm, and it is promising this year,” Jallow stated. He expressed optimism about the rainfall during the growing season, indicating that it has contributed to a fruitful harvest.

This year’s weather patterns appear to have favored the crops, leading to high hopes for a bountiful yield. Farmers like Jallow are optimistic that this season will bolster their livelihoods and contribute to the local economy. As the harvest continues, the community eagerly anticipates the benefits of a successful groundnut season.
