SENEGAL: PRESIDENT FAYE DISMISSED CDS
General Moussa Faal, the Chief of Defense staff of the armed forces in Senegal has been relieved of duty. The general had been a controversial figure over the years. He is blamed for authorizing the brutal crackdown on protesters, resulting to the lost of lives in hundreds. There has been widespread calls for him to be dismissed and tried. He is among the list of names submitted at the international court of justice (ICJ) by the French lawyer Juan Branco.
