Musa Jammeh, a presidential aspirant in the upcoming August 2026 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) elections, has announced that he will officially launch his election manifesto on Sunday, 26 July 2026.
The manifesto launch is expected to outline Jammeh’s vision and strategic plans for the future of Gambian football as he seeks the mandate of the GFF electorate ahead of the federation’s presidential elections next month.
His campaign team said the manifesto will present his blueprint for transforming football administration, strengthening grassroots development, enhancing governance, promoting transparency, and creating greater opportunities for players, coaches, referees, and other stakeholders across, former players, members of the the country.
The launch is anticipated to attract football stakeholders, club representatives, regional football officials, former players, members of the media, and supporters eager to hear his plans for the development of the sport. Jammeh’s announcement marks a significant milestone in the GFF election campaign as candidates intensify their engagement with delegates before the August polls.
The Gambia Football Federation elections are expected to shape the future leadership of football in the country, with candidates presenting competing visions for the continued growth and professionalisation of the game.
