Mobile Traffic Unit and UTG conducts training on Road Safety and Traffic Management

 

The Mobile Traffic Unit, in collaboration with the Transport Department of the University of The Gambia, conducted a training session on Friday, August 29, 2025, at the Mobile Traffic Headquarters in Kanifing.

The Deputy Commissioner of Mobile Traffic, DCP Buba S.F. Bah, in his opening statement, welcomed the facilitator, Mr. Sulayman Jammeh, Head of the Transport Department at the University of The Gambia, and thanked the University for such a timely and important initiative.

The training focused on Road Safety, covering accident prevention and appropriate response during and after crashes, as well as Traffic Management.

The session was highly interactive and enhanced the capacity of the participating officers, equipping them with vital knowledge to improve road safety and traffic management.

The Gambia Police Force reaffirms its commitment to continuous professional development in order to strengthen service delivery and ensure safer roads for all.
