Ministry Of Health holds Climate Risk-informed Water Sanitation and Hygiene Bottleneck Analysis Tool (CI-WASH-BAT) workshop

With support from UNICEF, the Ministry of Health is currently hosting a 4-day workshop (June 2-5, 2025) on the Climate Risk-informed Water Sanitation and Hygiene Bottleneck Analysis Tool (CI-WASH-BAT) at Sindola Safari Lodge, Kanilai.

This important gathering aims to identify challenges and develop actionable solutions for improving WASH services in The Gambia. The workshop brought together diverse stakeholders, including officials from the Ministry of Health, University of The Gambia, Civil Society Organizations, and other important stakeholders to collaborate on this critical initiative.

This activity is anticipated to lead to a joint sector review of WASH in the Gambia and strengthen our water, sanitation, and hygiene systems, making them more resilient against climate change.
