By: The Fatu Network News Desk

Highly rated teenage forward Mbaye Cissé, born in The Gambia, has completed a long-term move to IFK Norrköping, a club competing in Sweden’s top division – the Allsvenskan – as reported by football journalist Foday Manneh, marking another important milestone for Gambian linked talent moving into European football.

Cissé joins from Teungueth FC, a leading Senegalese club based in Rufisque, with the transfer facilitated by agent Modou Lamin Beyai, who also represents Gambian international Youssoupha Sanyang, currently playing professional football in Sweden after coming through the same club system.

Despite limited senior appearances in Senegal, Cissé attracted interest from several clubs across Scandinavia, with IFK Norrköping ultimately moving decisively, helped in part by the presence of fellow Gambian Abdoulie Tamba, as the 18 year old signed a contract running until December 2029.
