The Minister of Finance and Economic Affairs has indicated that in 2025 revenue stood at 33.1 billion dalasi. According to the breakdown, 23.1 billion dalasi arose from taxes and 5.4 billion dalasi from non tax revenue and 4.6 billion dalasi from grants.
However, in giving a breakdown he said the total expenditure is 36.4 billion dalasi thus giving a deficit of 3.3 billion dalasi, if revenue is subtracted from income. Furthermore, in giving a breakdown of the expenditure, he submitted that 15.9 billion dalasi was spent on government operations, 6.7 billion dalasi on other government entities, 2.2 billion dalasi on capital expenditure, 5.9 billion dalasi interest payments, 607 million on social benefits and 5.1 billion to others.
