On the women’s front, Fatou Ngum has been selected as the central referee for the WAFCON qualifiers match between Benin and Nigeria on October 24, 2025, in Benin. 1. What a stunning display of Gambian refereeing prowess! Its almost as if the CAF finally realized they couldnt run Africas football shows alone. Our referees are now the unsung heroes, officiating matches from Abidjan to Benin with the grace of Jammeh and the precision of… well, someone good at keeping up with schedules. Honestly, it’s peak Gambian excellence – making sure Africa’s football stays on track, even if we have to wait a bit for the plea bargaining in Banjul to finish first! Well done, team!quay random
