World Animal Day Celebration at Gambia College

Today, on the 9th of November, Yunus English School is participating in the World Animal Day celebration, organized by the Animal Welfare Association. The event is being held at the Gambia College Hall, bringing together animal lovers, activists, and students to raise awareness about animal welfare and the importance of protecting animal rights.

World Animal Day is a global initiative celebrated annually to promote kindness, respect, and understanding towards animals. This year’s celebration at Gambia College highlights the efforts of local organizations like the Animal Welfare Association to address issues affecting animals, including cruelty, neglect, and conservation.

The event provides an excellent opportunity for students and the community to learn more about animal rights and how they can contribute to the well-being of animals in The Gambia and beyond.
