Voices of the Grassroot:The Gambia’s National Dialogue at Regional Level

Under the coordination of the Office of the President, the members of the National Preparatory Committee 2024 are conducting forty-five district meetings in the seven regions countrywide. The dialogue aimed at stimulating participation in six thematic areas, including politics, agriculture, religion, media, migration and education through constructive and inclusive dialogue.
Following the successful launch of the National Dialogue by H.E. President Adama Barrow in February 2024, the National Preparatory Committee is conducting forty-five Consultative Dialogue sessions country-wide from the 3rd – 11th of July 2024.
The dialogue provides a perfect opportunity to hear grassroots voices discussing and finding solutions to critical national matters on the theme: Our Collective Responsibility of Preserving the Nation, Safeguarding the state, and securing our resources.
