Banjul hosts the 7th Heads of Tax Administrations Master Class

The city of Banjul, Gambia is currently hosting the 7th Heads of Tax Administrations Master Class, where Africa’s top tax authorities are convened to discuss and address critical issues for the continent’s progress. This event, organized by the African Tax Administration Forum (ATAF) in collaboration with the Gambia Revenue Authority (GRA), focuses on the theme of “Leading for Greatness: Shaping High Performance Tax Administrations”. At the forefront of this gathering are leaders from various African nations, including Commissioners General, Heads of Tax Administrations, and policymakers, who aim to devise strategies for stronger leadership, digital advancement, and enhanced domestic resource mobilisation to support the development of the continent. In a rapidly changing economic landscape, the forum aims to foster discussions on how tax institutions can become more efficient, accountable, and adaptable.
