There was chaos and pandemonium in the Kucheri community in Tsafe local government area of Zamfara State on Monday afternoon, with bandits shooting sporadically and causing panic among residents who scampered for safety.
In a video of the attack posted on X by counter-insurgency and security expert, Zagazola Makama, sounds of gunshots are heard in the background as scared residents flee for safety.
In the terrifying video footage, several residents, including women and children, were seen fleeing in all directions as rapid gunfire echoed through the community.

Some are heard making frantic Islamic prayers, calling on God for protection while the gunmen advanced while a male voice is heard shouting in Hausa,and others screamed “innalillahiwainnailaihirojiun” translated in English as “Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him, we shall return” repeatedly in panic and desperation.
