Kombo Sillah Zone has officially named Sheriffo Touray, popularly known as Figo, as head coach of its Zonal Team ahead of this year’s West Coast Zonals Championship.
Touray, a native of Siffoe, previously guided Yakarr FC to their first-ever GFF Women’s Division 2 title and subsequent promotion to the top flight. He will be supported by a technical backroom team comprising Lamin Sabally, Emile Jatta, Lamin Jadama, Haruna Jassey, John P. Mendy, and Modou Ceesay.
The appointment comes as Kombo Sillah prepares for its maiden participation in the West Coast Zonals. According to the zone’s executive committee, Touray’s first assignment was a resounding 4-2 friendly victory over Samger FC on Saturday, 25th October 2025, at the Siffoe Football Field.
The committee added that the team is set to play two more preparatory friendlies before taking on Lamin and Kombo East in the group stage of the tournament.
With Touray at the helm, Kombo Sillah aims to make a strong impression in its debut West Coast Zonals campaign.
