Police condemned for slapping man in Jabang-Sukuta bloody land clash

Police have come under fire after shocking footage emerged showing a man, held during the bloody Jabang-Sukuta land row, being brutally slapped by riot officers before being bundled into a truck.

The two Kombo communities clashed violently over disputed land, leaving dozens detained and many injured.

The video, widely shared online, shows several officers striking the man across the face before forcing him into the vehicle.

“Come here! Put him in the truck,” one officer can be heard shouting.

The clip has sparked outrage, with many branding the officers’ behaviour “police brutality” and demanding accountability.

Police have yet to comment on the disturbing footage.
