Mansakonko Area Council Nominated Youth Councilor Mr. Assan Njie has successfully completed the Youth Entrepreneurship and Leadership Training at the Academy for International Business Officials (AIBO) in Beijing, China
The two weeks seminar brings together young leaders across the globe to exchange ideas, build capacities and develop innovative solutions for youth development. The initiative is under the Ministry of Commerce, People’s Republic of China (MOFCOM).
In his statement, Mr. Njie expressed delightful to represent the Mansakonko Area Council (MKAC) The Gambia, alongside other young change makers around the world. He unearthed that the training has broadened his perspective on youth empowerment, innovation, and sustainable development.
Hon. Njie manifested his confidence that the knowledge and skills gained will significantly contribute towards the advancement of youth-led initiatives in the Lower River Region (LRR) and beyond. He disclosed his commitment to share and implement new ideas that can empower and uplift communities within the jurisdiction of Mansakonko Local Government Area (LGA)
