Lere Olayinka, the Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media to Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has mocked former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, following his recent defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), to the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
Olayinka who threw the jabs at Atiku when he featured on a Channels Television programme, ‘Sunrise Daily’, on Thursday, said Atiku’s obsession with becoming Nigeria’s president may have been as a result of a “doctor’s prescription.”
Olayinka who was reacting to Atiku’s third detection in his quest to contest for the presidency in the 2027 general elections, said the desperation to become president by the former presidential candidate of the PDP has become an obsession.
Olayinka who also took the battle to his X platform, wrote:
“The only thing that interests Atiku Abubakar is to become Nigeria’s President. I’m beginning to wonder whether a doctor prescribed ‘Presidency’ for him, and if he doesn’t become President, something will happen to him,” Olayinka said on the programme.
