The Kombo South District Football Committee has announced that the start of the 2025/26 Kombo South District Football Competition has been postponed from 18th October to 1st November 2025. The committee explained that the decision was taken to allow sufficient time for proper preparations by both the organizing team and affiliated communities, including completion of registration, preseason planning, and balloting.
“The initial start date of 18th October posed challenges due to limited time for the preseason meeting and completion of registration by affiliated communities,” the committee said. “To ensure a smooth and well-organized competition, we have decided to reschedule the start to 1st November 2025.”
As part of the preparations, the committee has scheduled the preseason meeting for 18th October at Sanyang Sports House at 10:00 a.m. All affiliated communities are expected to complete the payment of registration fees by 23rd October, with all payments made directly into the accounts of the Kombo South District Football Committee. The balloting for the competition is set for 25th October at the Sanyang Sports House, ahead of the opening match on 1st November at 4:00 p.m. at the Sanyang Football Field.
The committee emphasized that the 2025/26 edition promises to be one of the biggest and most competitive in recent years and urged all affiliated communities to adhere strictly to the schedule to ensure a successful tournament.
