The Hagie Gai Drammeh Foundation for the Physically Challenged hosted a special iftar event at the Ndemban Clinic recently, providing a heartwarming gesture of support and inclusivity for hospitalized patients during Ramadan.
The Hagie Gai Drammeh foundation is a non-profitable organization, known for its dedication to empowering individuals with disabilities. This iftar event, a first for the foundation, marks a significant step in their efforts to bring comfort and solidarity to those in need.
“We have donated beds and wheelchairs to the Ndemban Clinic before and this month of giving is a perfect time to come back and share a meal with the patients, reminding them they are not alone,” Hagie Gai Drammeh said.
Omar Cham, a representative from the Ndemban Clinic praised the foundation’s benevolent gesture, acknowledging the crucial need for support, particularly for patients from villages without families nearby.
The event exemplifies the organization’s mission to improve the lives of individuals with disabilities and foster a sense of community during Ramadan.
