Guinea Bissau’s Electoral Commission Declares It Cannot Finalise November Vote

Guinea Bissau’s National Electoral Commission has announced that it cannot conclude the November 23rd election, saying it lacks key materials after armed men reportedly seized ballots and vote tallies from its offices. The statement was read by the commission’s Deputy Executive Secretary, Idrissa Djaló, who said the body no longer has the conditions required to finalise the process.
