GPA Joins ministry and MTBS in signing climate- resilient integrated master plan

The Gambia Ports Authority (GPA), the Ministry of Transport, Works and Infrastructure (MOTWI), and Maritime & Transport Business Solutions (MTBS) officially signed the Climate Resilient Integrated National Transport Master Plan a landmark initiative under the AfDB-financed Banjul Resilience and Urban Development Project (4BPP).

The signing ceremony marked a critical step towards building a more connected and climate-resilient transport system, linking road, air, and maritime modes over a 25-year strategic period.

DPS Colley Representing MOTWI, MD Jobarteh GPA,and Direcetor Eulem signed on behalf of the MTBS. Also in attendance was Ms. Sheila Enyonam Akyea, Senior Transport Engineer at the African Development Bank, who commended the rigorous process and reaffirmed AfDB’s commitment to the project.
GPA is proud to be part of this transformative effort and looks forward to working closely with all partners for an integrated transport future for The Gambia.
