Governor of Banjul attends NDP Workshop at St Mary’s Cathedral Hall

Yesterday, the Executive Coordinator of Banjul, Hon. Ebrima Jawo attended a workshop organized by the Ministry of Finance Planing Department on National Development Plan (NDP) held at Cathedral Hall in Banjul.

The workshop brought together key stakeholders, including community leaders, youth representatives, council staff and other partners, to discuss the progress, achievements, challenges, and outcomes of the current National Development Plan.

In his remarks, Hon. Jawo commended the organizers for engaging local communities and emphasized the importance of grassroots participation in national development initiatives. He noted that for the NDP to be successful, it must reflect the voices and needs of the people at the community level — including the youth, women, and elders of Banjul

The session also highlighted the contributions that Banjul can make toward achieving the goals of the NDP, focusing on inclusive development, collaboration, and sustainability.

Participants expressed appreciation for the initiative and reaffirmed their commitment to supporting the implementation of the NDP in their respective communities.
