Gambia Launches Inaugural Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Gambia

 

The Special Olympics Gambia, in partnership with The Gambia Police Force, today launched the inaugural Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) in support of Special Olympics athletes.

The event, attended by the Minister of Youth and Sports, the Inspector General of Police, CDS Momat OA Cham, First Lady Fatoumatta Bah Barrow, students, and other athletes, began at the National Assembly. Participants then marched to McCarthy Square, where President Adama Barrow joined the gathering to show his support.

The Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) is a global initiative that unites law enforcement officers and communities to promote inclusion, empowerment, and awareness for Special Olympics athletes.
