Ex- President Jammeh responds to government:Says he fears neither prison nor death

Former Gambian President Yahya Jammeh has issued another warning from exile, daring the authorities to jail him and declaring that nothing on earth can stop his return to The Gambia.

In an explosive new audio message, the ex-ruler taunted his opponents: “Arrest me and put me in jail. You think I’m afraid? With Allah’s grace, I’m coming back whether anyone likes it or not.”

Jammeh claimed enemies have been running to marabouts across West Africa, from Benin to Mali to Guinea-Bissau, begging for spiritual intervention to block his comeback. But he mocked their efforts as hopeless.

“This is Allah’s decree,” he said. “Before I was even born, my destiny was written.”

He went further, issuing a chilling warning to those who doubt his return: “Maybe when I come back, I won’t even find them alive.”

The former leader insisted he fears neither prison nor death. “You think I’m afraid of death?” he asked defiantly.
