The Economic Commuyof West African States ( ECOWAS) will hold an international conference on the regional body’s Court of Justice operations.
The conference which is scheduled from the 22nd to 24th April 2026 aims to raise awareness across West Africa about the court’s mandate, it’s developing jurisprudence and how individuals and institutions can access its services. The conference according to the Chief Justice Hassan B. Jallow is necessary as many in the region remain unaware of the court’s existence. He added that the Gambia is well prepared to host this historic confab.
