Dawada Touray’s Islamic Poetry Album Launch inspires Faith and Creativity

 

Saint Peter’s Hall became a sanctuary of inspiration and spirituality as Dawada Touray unveiled his latest Islamic poetry album in a grand and memorable event. The launch brought together Islamic scholars, nasheed artists, and poets, each contributing their unique voices to celebrate the power of art in spreading messages of faith and unity.

The evening commenced with thought-provoking words from distinguished Islamic scholars. Chebbo Cham, Fakabb Ceesay (Hafizahoullah), Muhammed Okasha Badjie, Abu Mukbil Jambur, Hamza, and Omar NK Ceesay delivered enlightening talks on the role of art in promoting Islamic values. They emphasized the importance of creativity in engaging hearts and minds, encouraging the audience to embrace poetry and nasheed as tools for spiritual growth and community development.

The program was elevated by mesmerizing nasheed performances from Lubaba and Suwareh Nasheed and Muhammed Askalaani Nasheed. Their harmonious voices and deeply spiritual lyrics moved the audience, creating an atmosphere of reflection and inspiration.

Through evocative verses, these performers conveyed themes of faith, resilience, and the transformative power of Islam, leaving the audience captivated and inspired.

Dawada Touray expressed his gratitude to the guests and performers, noting that the album was a labor of love meant to inspire Muslims to strengthen their connection to Allah through art. “This album is not just about poetry,” Touray said. “It is about bridging the gap between faith and creativity, inspiring individuals to find solace and strength in their religion.”
