Commuters express concerns as a pickpocketer attempted to snatch a lady’s handbag.

An alleged pickpocketer known by the name “Skala,” has been targeting ladies and elderly people who try to board vehicles.
According to a woman vendor near the Brikama Mini Stadium, idle boys have been stealing mobile phones and money from commuters.
” Sometimes they pretend as if they are traveling. They will rush towards the van and steal. Most of the time  the people they target don’t realize it early.”
‘Skala ‘ could not be seen again, but a driver, Alhagie Fye, told this medium that the boys who accusing ‘Skala ‘ of stealing are also pickpocketers.

“They are all criminals, all of them are part of the same gang. They often assist drivers to get passengers.”
According to Arama Njie, last week, her Samsung phone and his wallet were stolen on his way to Serrekunda.
” I don’t trust any of them, When they stole from me last week, many boys were around but they couldn’t identify the person”
According to drivers, pickpocketers often target women and the elderly who are too weak to defend themselves.
They advised commuters to be vigilant and avoid exposing their mobile phone and money.
