This decision is made as result of my engagement out of the Gambia which I believe, would no longer allow me to fully concentrate on the services of Brikama Sports Committee.
I would have loved to complete the remaining one year of my term in this importantposition but due to circumstances beyond my control, I would not be able to offer what is expected of me as the President. Therefore, I deem it necessary to give chance to other capable people to continue from where I stopped, while I offer my best support during this period for a successful transition.
Similarly, I want to take this opportunity to thank the stakeholders and the entire footballing community of Brikama for the valuable support rendered to my leadership since we came to office.
While looking forward to your kind understanding in this endeavor, please do accept the assurance of my highest esteem”
