Brikama Zonal Team was held to a goalless draw by Brufut Zone in the West Coast Region (WCR) Zonal Football Championship at the Brufut Football Field on [insert date if known].
Both sides showed resilience in their quest to advance to the next stage of the tournament. The draw allowed Brikama to narrowly edge Brufut in the standings, with both teams advancing to the quarterfinals of the championship.
Elsewhere, Lamin Zone defeated Kombo East 1-0 to secure their place in the quarterfinals. Kombo East, unable to secure a win in the group stages, were eliminated from the championship after previously being held 1-1 at home by debutants Kombo Sillah before their loss to Lamin at the Late Sanna Jatta Memorial Football Field.
With these results, Kombo Sillah and Lamin Zone have also confirmed their spots in the quarterfinals, setting the stage for an exciting knockout phase in the WCR Zonal Championship.
