Berewuleng crowned Women’s Super Cup Champions after another triumph over Red Scorpions

Berewuleng have started the 2025/26 GFF Women’s football season in perfect fashion, securing the Women’s Super Cup title with a hard-fought 2–1 victory over Red Scorpions at the Serekunda East Mini Stadium.

The win marks their second consecutive triumph over Red Scorpions in this fixture, reinforcing their growing dominance in Gambian women’s football.

Red Scorpions struck first through Vilma Nhaga Badjeta, who converted early to put her side in front.

Berewuleng, however, remained composed and responded before the break when Mafanta Drammeh found the equaliser, injecting confidence back into her team.

The decisive moment arrived in the second half when Kaddy Drammeh produced the match-winning strike. Her goal completed Berewuleng’s comeback and ultimately secured the Super Cup crown.

With the Drammeh sisters leading the charge, Berewuleng have once again showcased their resilience, quality and growing pedigree as they lift the first piece of silverware of the new campaign.
