General Bora Colley, a prominent member of former president Yahya Jammeh’s hit squad, The Junglers, died late Sunday evening. General Colley was among the entourage who fled with Jammeh to Equatorial Guinea after losing the election, which saw President Adama Barrowascends to power. He lived in E. Guinea for eight years until early August last year when he decided to return via Senegal. He surrendered himself to the military on Friday,y 9th August 202,4, and was subsequently arrested and detaineSurveillanceee was conducted at his residence to ensure the return didn’t pose any threat to the security of the nation. According to sources, he was suffering from health implications and was given rare care by members of the Gambia Armed Forces where he succumbed to death.
