Ministry of Finance acknowledges World Bank Support to Gambia’s National Development Drive.

Fatou Jagne of the Aid- Coordination Department at the Ministry of Finance and Economic Affairs has expressed appreciation to the World Bank for its enormous contributions to the Gambia’s Development initiatives.

She spoke while representing the Permanent Secretary at the World Bank’s forum entitled:
Business Outreach – Private Sector and Civil Society Organizations Participation in Procurement financed by the World Bank.

” Madam Chairperson, allow me to register our appreciation for the World Bank for organizing this important event and to express our sincere gratitude and appreciation for their continuous support and collaboration on all aspects of our national development drive, equally, the same applies to all of you for your presence and participation in this workshop”

She added that the forum seeks to door to greater collaboration between the World Bank, Private Sector, CSO, and local supplies and contractors, ensuring that opportunities are not only accessible but equitable for all stakeholders involved.

“I hope that the outcome of this workshop will serve a useful purpose for achieving transparency and efficiency in our project’s implementation.”

She stressed that the Ministry of Finance looks forward to continued collaboration with the World Bank, Private Sector, and CSO while assuring partners that their doors are fully open for interventions within the framework of their Development Plan.

” It’s your engagement that will drive the changes we seek and together we can build a resilient and dynamic business environment in the Gambia” Fatou Jagne concluded.
