A popular Senegalese local tea, Cafe Touba seems to be the choice of Young people as we get into the cool season.
At strategic junctions in the Greater Banjul Area, vendors often sell the hot cafe to addicts.
At the busy Tabokoto Junction, Young people were seen buying from Sheikh Niang, a vendor who sells at night.
” It’s a blessing to consume this cafe from the spiritual city of Touba,” Lamin Fye said
It’s not only Cafe Touba which is available with the vendors but people seem to prefer it.
” It’s getting cool so it’s good to drink something hot. Cafe Touba is a normal drink and I prefer it”Sulay Manka asserted
Cool season is often associated with many sicknesses therefore it’s ideal to consume more hot drinks instead of cool ones.
” It’s keeper, even D10 dalasis you can buy a small quantity of Cafe Touba.” Saidou Chorr said
Sheikh Niang, the Cafe Touba vendor highlighted that he gets more profit in selling Cafe Touba than other brands.
