Beakayang conducts training for Badinbung facilitators

️Beakayang,a grassroot human rights organization yesterday successfully completed a 3-day training workshop for their  ‘Badinbung’ Facilitators in Brikama, West Coast Region.
At the end of the orientation session, participants unanimously elected Imam Omar Bojang of Jambur as the Chairperson of ‘Badinbung’ in West Coast and North Bank region respectively.
️ Aja Adama Tutu Bojang thanked Beakanyang for the Badinbung initiative and assure the organization of their commitment to making it work.
The  Executive Director of Beakayang,Mr Nfamara Jawneh congratulated the participants for the successful completion of the training.
He reminded the participants that the work ahead of them will not be easy but when they put the knowledge gained from the training in good use it will be smooth for them.
️ He commended the African Transitional Justice Legacy Fund and its partners the AU and EU for supporting the Badinbung project.”

Badinbung is a conflict resolution initiative through dialogue.

The organization since it’s inception has been focusing on human rights, community development, peace and conflict resolution as well as other issues partinent to human development.
