Now, if we check the artist nominated in that Best African Music Performances category, Tyla’s “Water” deserved to win 100%. Just check the content of each song and be true to yourself.
We have songs from Nigerian stars like “Unavailable,” “Rush”, and “Amapiano,” that clearly have no impactful message. “Water” by Tyla might not have a very deep and impactful message, but when we want to check on the starts, her song clearly outperforms any other song in this category globally.
We love Davido and wanted him to win, but saying the Grammy Award is worthless because no Nigerian artist won is very bitter of us. There is no award that recognizes real value in music than the Grammys, and there is no award more popular than it.
