A delegation from the Janjanbureh Area Council visited the Office of the Governor of the Central River Region (CRR) on Monday. The delegation included the Chairman, Vice Chairman, and Councillor of Janjanbureh Ward, along with the Acting Director of Finance and the Acting Director of Planning and Development.
The Honourable Chairman welcomed Governor Musa Mbye to the region, assuring him of the council’s collaboration. Chairman Sawaneh highlighted the numerous challenges the council faces in its operations.
In response, Governor Mbye expressed his appreciation for the courtesy call. He thanked the delegation for their visit and assured them of his unwavering support. Governor Mbye emphasized the importance of teamwork between the council and his office to effectively serve the region.
“We must work together to overcome the challenges and ensure the development of our region,” stated Governor Mbye, reinforcing his commitment to the service of CRR.
