The Gambia Police Force Conducted A Community Policing Tour.

Through this tour, the public will be educated on collaborative measures for fighting crime and the importance of reporting crimes, including sexual offenses, harassment, domestic violence, and other forms of gender-based violence.

The engagements have covered the following schools and communities from 24th to 29th June 2024.
Suduwol Senior Secondary School, Baja-Kunda Senior Secondary School, Nasir Senior Secondary School, Baragi Kunda Village, Foday-Kunda Village, Nyankoi Kerewan Village-Sutukoba, Sabi Village, Demba Kunda-Numoyel lumo.

The team, including facilitators OC Community Policing Unit Lamin Jaiteh, W.Cpl Fanta Bah, DSP Fatoumata Touray prosecution unit, Edrisa Sallah GIZ adviser, Lolly Camara team facilitator, Fatou Faye GBV experts, Team kitabu and Buba NK Touray PR Office.

The team will continue similar engagements in CRR from 03rd July to 08th July 2024.
